About 7,500 People Visited Romania’s Parliament Within “Open Gates” Event

Romania’s Parliament is open to the public Saturday and Sunday and about 7,500 people visited the institution in the first day of the “Open Gates” event organized by the Chamber of Deputies.

The Chamber planned to organize five such events per year and the first edition in February 2010 gathered about 20,000 visitors.

Chamber of Deputies Speaker Roberta Anastase was the host of the event.
