Coronavirus in Romania: 14.499 cases, of which 6.144 people cured and 876 died

In Romania, 14.499 cases of coronavirus are confirmed until Thursday. A number of 6.144 Romanians were cured and another 876 died due to the virus, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) announced. In the last 24 hours, 392 new cases of illness have been registered.

According to the GCS, 14.499 cases of people infected with the COVID-.19 virus (coronavirus) were confirmed by Thursday. Of the people confirmed positive, 6.144 were declared cured and discharged.

By the time the news was transmitted, 876 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection, hospitalized in Dolj, Bucharest, Iasi, Suceava, Arad, Bacau, Timis, Cluj, Neamt, Hunedoara, Constanta, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Ialomita, Bistrita -Năsăud, Covasna, Dâmboviţa, Vrancea, Galaţi, Caraş-Severin, Mureş, Giurgiu, Bihor, Argeş, Vaslui, Botoşani, Alba, Sălaj, Braşov, Mehedinţi, Teleorman, Gorj, Prahova, Vâlcea, Călăraşi and Maram, died.

Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 392 new cases of illness have been registered.

At the moment, 234 patients are hospitalized at ATI.

On the Romanian territory, there are 14.142 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 20.841 people are in solitary confinement at home and are under medical supervision.

To date, 226.613 tests have been processed at the national level.
