EC Opens Infringement Against Romania On Fiscal Warehousing

The European Commission has triggered infringement procedures against Romania for limiting the authorization of fiscal warehouses to energy products through government emergency decree 54/2010 amending the Tax Code, the Romanian Union of Road Transporters said Friday.

Transporters send a complaint to the Commission in January saying Romania breaches EU laws by introducing the measure.

The EC informed the union Thursday the Commission has already started infringement procedures over fiscal warehousing.
