Romania: 19 new cases of coronavirus. The official number reaches 158 people diagnosed

According to the GCS, on the Romanian territory, 158 cases of persons infected with COVID-19 are confirmed.

Of the 158 cases, 19 are new and were registered as following: four in Arad, three in Ilfov, two in Vâlcea, two in Timişoara and one in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Sălaj, Buzău, Ialomiţa, Hunedoara, Galaţi and Suceava.

"The 19 people found are between the ages of 19 and 54, are quarantined or self-insulated. Afterwards most of these new cases traveled to Italy, 2 of them to Austria and Germany. People infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus) are admitted to hospitals in Bucharest, Iaşi, Cluj-Napoca, Timişoara, Craiova and Constanţa and are under permanent medical supervision. The overall health of the patients is good", GCS announces.

The source states that in the institutionalized quarantine there are 3.008 persons for whom checks are being carried out to detect if they have contacted the virus COVID-19 (coronavirus). Other 15.546 people are in isolation at home and are under medical supervision.

To date, 36 criminal files have been registered, regarding committing the crime of eluding disease control.
