Romania Issues Bitter Cold Warning Valid Until Friday

Romanian meteorologists have issued an orange code warning of frosty weather valid from Monday until Friday for most of the country's regions, where temperatures are expected to drop to between minus 27 and minus 17 degrees Celsius.

In the southern and southeastern parts of the country, the wind will blow at a speed of 40-50 km/h.

Western Romania is under a yellow code advisory for bitter cold until Friday, February 3. Temperatures in these parts of the country are expected to drop to below minus 10 degrees Celsius.
