Romania registers a new record of new cases of coronavirus infection: 5.343. In the last 24 hours have been reported 107 deaths. A record is also set in intensive care: 861 people are hospitalized.

As of Wednesday, October 28, in Romania, 222.559 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID - 19) were confirmed.

159.855 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 5.343 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test.

Apart from the newly confirmed cases, following the retesting of patients who were already positive, 777 people were reconfirmed positive.

As of Wednesday, 6.681 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.

In the last 24 hours, 107 deaths (60 men and 47 women) were reported, of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Bacău, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Botoşani, Braşov, Călăraşi, Caraş-Severin, Constanţa, Covasna, Dolj, Galaţi, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Iaşi, Maramureş, Mureş, Olt, Prahova, Sălaj, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiş, Vaslui and Bucharest.
