Romania Registers 104 Deaths, 6,545 AH1N1 Infections

Romania registers 104 fatalities and 6,545 infections with the AH1N1 flu virus, as two more deaths and 75 new infections have been reported over the past 24 hours, the Health ministry said Saturday.

Over half a million people out of Romania's population of nearly 20 million have been vaccinated against the AH1N1 virus. The locally-made vaccine is available for free to everyone aged over 16 and no side effects have been reported so far.

Romanian authorities said the country is ready to produce five million doses of vaccine until February.
