    Romania Registers 42 Deaths, 5,421 AH1N1 Infections

    Romania registers 42 fatalities and 5,421 infections with the AH1N1 flu virus, as 66 new infections and four deaths because of the virus were reported over the past 24 hours, Romania’s Health Ministry said Thursday.

    According to the ministry, new AH1N1 infection cases were registered in Arad (1), Bacau (3), Botosani (11), Brasov (1), Calarasi (1), Cluj (4), Constanta (1), Dambovita (1), Galati (1), Harghita (3), Iasi (4), Mures (2), Neamt (4), Olt (2), Prahova (2), Timis (5), Tulcea (1), Vaslui (2).

    Capital city Bucharest registered 17 new AH1N1 infections over the past 24 hours.
