Romanian Finance Minister To Speak In Parliament On October 11 Regarding Split VAT

The Romanian Chamber of Deputies’ Standing Bureau approved Tuesday the liberals’ request that Finance Minister Ionut Misa speaks in Parliament about the split value-added tax, and set the date for October 11.

The National Liberal Party had requested Wednesday that Finance Minister Ionut Misa and specialists within the Finance Ministry speak in Parliament about the split value-added tax.

Liberal First Vice President Raluca Turcan said that party members suspect that the finance minister’s actions contradict the specialists' team within the ministry.
