    Romanian Lower House Approves Report Of Committee Investigating Ex-Youth Min

    Romanian Chamber of Deputies approved by majority of votes a decision adopting the report of the committee investigating former youth and sport minister Monica Ridzi, which asks the Government, the Competition Council and the Court of Accounts to check the spending of public funds for Youth Day.

    The lawmakers decided 136 to 89 votes to approve the draft decision adopting the report received

    The Chamber of Deputies will vote on the prosecutor general’s request to begin prosecution in the case of former youth and sports minister.

    The legal committee in the Romanian Chamber of Deputies earlier Monday sanctioned with 18 votes in favor and one abstention the general prosecutor’s request to start prosecution against former youth and sports minister Monica Iacob Ridzi.
