    Romanian Meteorologists Lift Code Yellow, Orange Weather Advisory

    Romanian meteorologists Monday evening lifted the code yellow and orange advisory for the southeastern part of the country, but warned that snowfall and gusty wind would continue for a few more hours.

    According to the National Meteorology Administration's website, the advisory was lifted Monday at 7 p.m. local time.

    The first code yellow advisory was issued Friday and forecasted snow and gusty wind throughout the southern half of the country Saturday through Monday morning.

    The advisory was upgraded Saturday to the code orange alert targeting Bucharest and southeastern counties of Gorj, Mehedinti, Dolj, Olt, Valcea, Teleorman, Giurgiu, Calarasi, Ilfov, Ialomita, Buzau, Braila and Galati.
