Romanian Munich-Bound Flight Returns To Timisoara Airport Over Technical Problems

A flight of Romanian airliner Carpatair heading for Munich, Germany, returned to the airport in Timisoara, western Romania, Wednesday morning, ten minutes after take-off because of technical problems.

Airport spokeswoman Nicoleta Trifan said the pilots of the Munich-bound flight requested permission to return ten minutes after take-off, citing technical problems. All passengers were unboarded safely and resumed their flight on another plane.

Trifan added the plane did not return under emergency conditions.
