Train Derails In S-E Romania Due To Snow, Passengers Unharmed

A train carrying 123 passengers derailed in southeastern Romania Thursday morning because of the heavy snow that has covered the tracks, said passenger railway company spokesman Adrian Vlaicu.

The train was traveling from Constanta, in southeast Romania, to capital Bucharest.

The train slipped off the track but did not overturn and none of the passengers were injured, said Vlaicu, adding the railway has been close din the area until support teams manage to clear it.
