World Records Academy Designates Romanian Dacia Duster Most Affordable SUV

World Records Academy, an international organization which provides world record certification, has designated Romanian carmaker Dacia’s new model, the Duster, the world’s most affordable SUV.

The World Records Academy cited the Duster's starting price of USD16,200 for the 4x2 and USD18,390 for the 4x4 specification as the lowest in the world. The WRA's website also provides technical data on the car.

Dacia Duster was launched at the recent auto show in Geneva. It may be bought on the Romanian market for prices between EUR10,500 and EUR15,600, including VAT.
