BMW Romania Recalls 167 Mini Cars For Water Pump Checkups

BMW Romania recalls 167 Mini brand cars over likely electric circuit problems with the water pump, the car importer told MEDIAFAX Tuesday.

Workshop interventions will last about 30 minutes, said BMW Romania representatives.

The German carmaker said Tuesday it recalls 235,000 Mini brand cars sold worldwide.

The car models recalled are Mini Cooper, Cooper S, Clubman, Cooper JCW and Countryman.

Last year, 150 Mini cars were registered in Romania, up 56% on the year.

The Mini is a British car brand launched in 1959. It was bought by German car maker BMW in 1994.
