Code Red Flood Alert On Prut, Danube In Galati County, SE Romania, Valid Until Friday Afternoon

Romanian hydrologists maintain the code red flood alert for the Prut river on its sectors in northeastern counties of Botosani, Iasi and Vaslui and the southeastern county of Galati, valid until Friday at 4 p.m..

The code orange flood alert was also extended for the Prut's sectors in Vaslui and Galati, as well as for the Siret's sectors in Galati and for the Tisa's sector in Maramurs, northwestern Romania.

A code yellow flood advisory was issued for sectors of rivers Prut and Jijia, and for the upstream sectors of rivers Dambovita, Ialomita, Prahova, Teleajen and their tributaries.
