Maltese Vessel Stranded On The Danube, Eastern Romania

A Maltese vessel that had left for Turkey from Danube port Galati, eastern Romania, was stranded Friday night for reasons yet unknown, the Bucharest police traffic center said.

No crew member was hurt and the Danube was not polluted.
 
The vessel was transporting 2,989 tons of steel rolls produced by ArcelorMittal Galati.
