One Dead In Bucharest Apartment Block Fire

According to the ISU Bucharest-Ilfov, the victim was found dead in the apartment where the fire started, while a person stranded on the building’s fifth floor was evacuated.

Searches were ongoing for other potential victims as of Wednesday afternoon.

Four firefighter trucks intervened to put out the fire, which caused heavy smoke throughout the area.
