Romania BCR Shuts Down Card Operations Saturday-Sunday

Romania’s largest lender Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) will interrupt on Saturday 23:00 local time until Sunday 18:00 local time the functioning of its system managing the card operations.

No card transactions will be made during this period and the ATM and POS networks will not be operational.

This temporary shut down is aimed at improving the bank’s electronic system.
