Romania's Budget Deficit at 2.2% of GDP in Jan-Oct, Finance Minister Says

Romania's consolidated budget posted a deficit of 2.2% of gross domestic product in January-October, finance minister Eugen Teodorovici said Tuesday, adding the country won't exceed the 3% deficit limit.

He said the deficit stands at RON21 billion after the first ten months of the year.

The finance ministry is expected to release breakdown budget data for the period January-October this week.
