Romania Sells EUR1.3B 3-Yr Bonds At 4.8% Avg Yield
Romania's Finance Ministry on Thursday sold three-year foreign currency bonds worth EUR1.3 billion, above the planned amount, at an average yield of 4.8% a year.

The ministry planned to sell debt worth EUR1 billion at Thursday's auction.
The issue carries a coupon of 4.5% a year.
Romania has to repay EUR1.4 billion in one-year treasury bills due November 29.
Thursday's issue was the second forex bond sale on the domestic market this year, after the ministry raised EUR1.2 billion in one-year treasury bonds on July 28.
So far this year, Romania sold roughly RON34.8 billion (around EUR8 billion) in leu-denominated state notes.
