Romanian Liberal Party Demands Government's Resignation

The Romanian Liberal Party is calling for the Boc Cabinet's immediate resignation, arguing that the Government has proven "incapable" and "absent" in the management of the recent protests, as well as "to blame" for their causes and development, party leader Crin Antonescu said Monday.

The Liberal Party's leadership has been authorized to discuss holding "a large rally" in Bucharest in the coming days, with their partners in the Social-Liberal Union, Antonescu added.
