Romanian Lottery Jackpot Tops EUR9.5M

The Romanian Lottery on Thursday estimated this Sunday’s jackpot at the Loto 6/49 drawing will exceed EUR9.5 million, the second biggest prize in the history of the Romanian lottery.

On August 26, 2007 a man from Calarasi county, southern Romania, won the biggest jackpot ever, worth EUR10.45 million.

Four other Romanians guessed all the six lucky numbers at the Loto 6/49 drawings in 2007.
