Romanian Lottery Jackpot Touches EUR12M Record

The Romanian Lottery on Thursday estimated this Sunday’s jackpot at the Loto 6/49 drawing will reach approximately EUR12 million, the biggest prize in the company’s history.

On August 26, 2007 a man from Calarasi county, southern Romania, won the second biggest jackpot ever, worth EUR10.45 million.

Four other Romanians guessed all the six lucky numbers at the Loto 6/49 drawings in 2007.
