Romanian President Urges Govt To Create, Attract Investments

Romanian President Traian Basescu on Monday stressed that it is important for the Government to launch and attract investments, in order to create jobs.

Basescu expressed this position in the High Defense Council on Monday. He has said several times recently that the Government should create jobs by launching large projects, such as the Rosia Montana mining development.

The Defense Council also repealed a decision issued on January 21, 2010, concerning the reorganization of the electricity production sector under the authority of the Ministry of Economy.
