Upgrade works entailed traffic restrictions on two sections of national road DN1, in the area of western beltway of southern city of Ploiesti, Prahova County.

The representatives of the Prahova County Police Department said traffic restrictions stretched onto 500 meters for each section.

Traffic in the area is monitored and directed either with traffic light systems or by the employees of the company executing the upgrade works to prevent accidents or blockages.
