Extraordinary session of the Chamber of Deputies on August 13

The Standing Bureau decided yesterday, with majority of votes, to approve the request of the Head of the State. The agenda includes the floods and Adrian Nastase and Miron Mitrea files.

The calling of the extraordinary session ten days ahead of deadline has, according to the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, the Liberal Bogdan Olteanu, an explanation: “to give time to our colleagues to organize their arrival to Bucharest (…) in order to be sure that we shall have the necessary quorum of two thirds.”
