Consultations schedule at Cotroceni: Iohannis talks with the parties about the next prime minister

The liberals will arrive at the Cotroceni Palace for consultations at 16.00 and will be followed by those from PSD, USR and UDMR.

PMP members will arrive at the Cotroceni Palace at 18.00. The following delegations will be from ALDE, Pro Romania and finally the minorities.

The presidential Administration announced the entire program of consultations:

16.00 - National Liberal Party (PNL);
16.30 - Social Democratic Party (PSD);
17.00 - Union Save Romania (USR);
17.30 - Democratic Union of Hungarians of Romania (UDMR);
18.00 - People's Movement Party (PMP);
18.30 - Party of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats (ALDE);
19.00 - Pro Europa parliamentary group;
19.30 - Parliamentary group of national minorities.

The president announced that Ludovic Orban renounced his appointment as prime minister on Tuesday evening and that on Wednesday, from 16.00 to 20.00 he would have consultations with political parties and would make a decision for the appointment of a new prime minister.
