Romania GDP Growth Reconfirmed at 4.1% in 2019

Romania's gross domestic product grew 4.1% in 2019 compared with 2018, a second preliminary reading from the country's statistics board confirmed Tuesday.

The reading confirmed the country's economy grew 4.3% in the fourth quarter of 2019 compared with the fourth quarter of 2018. In real terms, annual growth in the fourth quarter stood at 4.2%, the data showed.

Quarter-to-quarter GDP grew 1.5% higher in the fourth quarter.

Romania had an estimated gross domestic product of RON1.059 trillion in 2019.
