Romania Jobless Rate Falls To 6.6% In February

Romanian unemployment rate fell slightly to 6.58% in February, from 6.74% a month earlier, the country’s employment agency ANOFM said Friday.

A year earlier, Romania's jobless rate was 8.3%.

The total number of unemployed people reached 600,308 in February, down from 614,976 people in the previous month, ANOFM said.

End-February, the number of jobless claims was 285,850, from 315,498 claims a month earlier.
