The prime minister added public-private partnership projects can also be undertaken in sectors like agriculture, healthcare and energy.
The Transport Ministry said in September 2010 it plans to auction construction works for the Comarnic-Brasov highway again, as the winning bidder dropped the project in April on lack of funds.
The Vinci (France)-Aktor (Greece) consortium said in April it dropped the EUR1.5 billion concession contract for the highway.
The highway segment was set to be completed by 2014 and the Romanian state was to pay a total EUR4.8 billion over the next 26 years.
