2008 Red Bull Romaniacs Hard Enduro Rally Lines Up 210 Riders
The fifth edition of the Red Bull Romaniacs Hard Enduro Rally will line up 210 participants from 29 countries, including 17 Romanian riders, organizer Martin Freinademetz said Wednesday.

Romanian rider Emanuel Gyenes, twice winner at the Expert class of the competition, is favorite to finish among the first ten competitors in the Pro class this year. Gyenes finished second at the 450cmc class of 2008 Dakar Series Central Europe Rally.
“I wish very much not to injure myself to be able to finish the toughest edition so far of Red Bull Romaniacs and I hope to obtain a better result than in 2007,” Gyenes said.
The 2008 Red Bull Romaniacs will start in Sibiu city, center Romania, on September 13.
The participants will cover approximately 200 kilometers a day in the Carpathians Mountains.
The rally will end on September 17.
