800 Children Visit Romanian Parliament On ‘Open Gates’ Day

More than 800 children visited the building of the Romanian Parliament during the “Open Gates” event for children on Saturday.

The event, organized by the Secretariat General with the Chamber of Deputies, was attended by House Speaker Bogdan Olteanu.

“Some (of the children – e.n.) told me they want to become MPs, but I told them they have to study hard,” Olteanu said.

Olteanu said his two children, Teea and Sasa, will attend the event as well.
