AH1N1 Flu Infections In Romania Near 2,000

Romania’s Health Ministry Sunday confirmed 72 new infections with the AH1N1 flu virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 1,921.

The new infections were registered in Alba, Cluj, Ilfov and Iasi counties (2 cases each), Bacau and Buzau counties (3 cases each), Dambovita county (6 cases), Dolj (4 cases), Ialomita county (1 case), Suceava and Vrancea counties (7 cases each).

In capital city Bucharest, 33 new infection cases were registered in the last 24 hours.
