Bucharest Mayoralty To Spend EUR420M On 8 Underground Parking Lots

The mayoralty of romania’s capital city Bucharest assigned over EUR450 million to build eight underground parking lots with two or three levels, to ensure over 7,000 parking spaces, according to the announcement for the leasing of works.

Authorities said the auction to attribute construction works will be organized on March 16 and the parking lots should be ready in two years of contract attribution.

Bucharest’s general council approved late February last year the city’s parking strategy and the mayoralty was supposed to build about 9,000 parking spaces in 2008, mostly in the central area.
