Bucharest Prefect Replaces 19 District 1 Voting Section Presidents

Bucharest prefect Ion Tincu asked the Bucharest Court to replace the 19 presidents of voting sections in Bucharest District 1, as they informed the Central Electoral Office that they no longer wish to participate in the elections.

The Bucharest Court president will appoint the 19 replacements Saturday from the reserve created and which includes backups for 10% of all voting section presidents, Tincu told MEDIAFAX.

The 19 presidents informed the Central Electoral Office that they step down from their positions.
