China Warns Workers To Steer Clear Of Romania On Poor Econ Conditions

The Chinese Trade Ministry warned citizens who want to work abroad to avoid Romania, Poland and other central eastern European states, as the recession makes working condition difficult in the region, Poland’s public radio station reported Tuesday.

The ministry said many Chinese nationals currently employed in CEE complained about not received their salaries in time and that the region faces difficulties and unemployment.

It also urged Chinese companies “not to send workers in the region” and to create stable jobs on the domestic market instead.
