Earthquake 5.8 On Richter Scale Felt In Black Sea, Romanian Capital

An earthquake measuring 5.8 degrees on the Richter scale occurred Wednesday morning on the Romanian seaside and was also felt in capital city Bucharest.

The earthquake occurred at a ten-kilometer depth in the Black Sea, said Gheorghe Marmureanu, the manager of the National Institute of Earth Physics.

He added the earthquake was superficial and was felt at the Black Sea.
