Eastern Half Of Romania Under Yellow Code For Rainstorms, Hail Until Saturday

Romanian meteorologists have issued a yellow code warning for the eastern half of the country and capital Bucharest, expecting heavy rainstorms and hail from Thursday at noon to Saturday morning.

The rainstorm alert is valid for 27 counties in the eastern half of Romania.

Precipitation is expected to exceed 30 liters per square meter and 60-70 liters per square meter in some areas.
