Flu Epidemic Death Toll Reaches 142

Romania’s National Public Health Institute (INSP) announced on Wednesday that country’s ongoing flu epidemic reached 142, after two more victims were identified in connection to the disease.

An 18-year old man from Prahova county and a 60-year old woman from Arges county both died because of the disease.

The two victims were also suffering from other medical conditions and had not been immunized against the disease.

The epidemic’s death toll has now reached 142.

Romania’s Health Ministry declared a flu epidemic on January 30.
