France Telecom Appoints New CEO At Orange Romania

France Telecom-Orange appointed Jean-Francois Fallacher as chief executive officer of Orange Romania, replacing Thierry Millet who was promoted within the group.

Millet ran Orange Romania since 2009. He was promoted to a position of vice-president of the Payment&Contactless division within the France Telecom-Orange group, the company said Wednesday in a news release.

Orange Romania is the largest local operator of mobile telephony, with 10.3 million clients and revenue of EUR222 million in the first quarter. Its main competition comes from Vodafone Romania.
