Freight Train Derails In Western Romania

Six train cars filled with coal derailed Thursday in Hunedoara county, western Romania, in an accident that did not result in any injuries.

According to the chief of the Hunedoara transport police, Vasile Hritac, the train was travelling between the towns Petrosani and Simeria, and six of the train's 24 cars derailed.

Traffic in the area is blocked pending wreckage removal.
