Of over 600 Roma people that have been living in the suburbs of Paris for two years, only 25 families were allowed to stay in France. Most of them, however, joined other camps in Saint-Ouen, Le Parisien informed on its website.

Seine-Saint-Denis prefect, Olivier Dubant, clearly stated that France cannot and will not accept all Roma people.

Last year, 23,186 foreigners were repatriated, of which, 2,271 Romanians and 810 Bulgarians, while 4,600 Roma people were repatriated in the first five months of the year, according to Romeurope organization.

Nevertheless, the number of Roma people is not going down, with 2,000 to 4,000 Roma people still living in Ile-de France.
