Journalist C Avramescu Appointed State Counselor At Pres Chancellery

Journalist Catalin Avramescu was appointed state counselor within the Chancellery of Romania’s president Traian Basescu, according to the site of the presidential administration.

Avramescu was born on July 12, 1967 in the town of Mizil in South Central Romania. He finished his studies at the Bucharest University.

Avramescu is a member of the Group for Social Dialogue and former editorialist for “Cotidianul” newspaper.
