Julio Iglesias To Sing A Duet With Romanian Prodigy Costel Busuioc

The organizers of the show said over 95% of tickets were sold until Monday.

"The band Distinto will play in the opening of the concert, and Julio Iglesias and Costel Busuioc will sing a duet, which will be a surprise track sung in Spanish," said Cristina Cojucar, PR manager with the Music Management company.

The sound will be provided by special equipment, which weighs three tons, worth EUR1 million.

Iglesias arrived in Romania Sunday afternoon, with a personal jet, and checked into a five-star hotel in the Cluj-Napoca. The artist did not have any special requirements and only wanted Romanian vegetables for his meal, tomatoes and cucumbers.

"He really likes Romanian vegetables, which he described as having a natural taste, and they are not treated with chemical fertilizer," Cojucar said.

Iglesias is accompanied by a band of 12 people – seven instrument players, two tango dancers and three backing vocals.

Iglesias will leave Cluj Tuesday, heading for northeastern Romania, to Iasi, where he is to have a concert on July 16, followed by another concert on July 19, in Constanta, southeastern Romania.

Within his anniversary tour, Iglesias already held concerts in South Africa, Columbia, Venezuela, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, the United States of America, Turkey, Slovenia, Ukraine, Serbia and Russia.
