Man Dies In Bucharest Subway After Being Hit By Train

A 31-year old man from Bucharest died on Thursday at the Gorjului station after he was hit by an oncoming train.

The Bucharest Emergency Situations Inspectorate announced that the man was pronounced dead on site by first responders.

Initial reports suggested that the man threw himself in front of the train, in an apparent act of suicide.

Last week, another 35-year old woman committed suicide in the same manner at the Aparatorii Patriei station.
