Over 36% Of Romanian Troops In Kosovo, 37% In Afghanistan, Voted By GMT1000
Some 45% of Romanian troops scheduled to vote in the polling station open at Pec, in Kosovo, came to vote Sunday until GMT1000, while in Pristina, voter turnout reached 25% by that same time.

Overall, out of the approximate 150 troops deployed in Kosovo, 36% cast ballots, according to the Ministry of Defense.
In Afghanistan, where Romania has 1,045 troops, voter turnout reached over 36% at GMT1000, with 20% of troops voting in Kabul and 35% voting in Zabul. In Kandahar, over 90% of troops voted.
Voting unfolded without incidents so far.
