Parliament Committees OK Simona Miculescu For Romanian Ambassador To UN

Romania’s parliament committees for foreign policies approved 24 to one votes and one abstention the nomination of Simona Miculescu for Romania’s ambassador to the United Nations.

Miculescu said the UN is a universal stand from where Romania can make its voice heard. She also said she will do her best to firmly place Romania on the international map.

Answering lawmakers’ questions, she said the Kosovo issue is the top priority for Romania’s mission to the UN.
