Partial Results: Social Democrats Remain On Top

Romania’s alliance between the social democrats and the conservatives obtained 33.09% of votes, followed by the Democratic Liberal Party with 32,34% and the National Liberal Party with 18.57 %, following the counting of votes in 99.62% of polling stations countrywide, for the Chamber of Deputies.

Central Electoral Office spokesperson Marian Muhulet said for Senate, the PSD+PC alliance obtained 34.12 % of votes, followed by PDL with 33.57% and PNL with 18.75%.
