Police Arrests Four Romanians Caught Shoplifting In Athens

Four Romanians were arrested while shoplifting Tuesday in Athens. This event brings the number of arrested Romanians to six during the riots taking place in Greece to six, the Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry said Wednesday.

According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the four Romanians were arrested on charges of theft. Like the other two Romanians arrested in Thessaloniki, the four were caught while stealing what was in the devastated shops.

They are to be indicted and tried urgently. The two Romanians caught in Thessaloniki will be tried at large. It seems they have been caught Tuesday while trying on clothes in a vandalized shop.
